All Falling into Silence
All falling into silence
around you, deep within.
What’s in the past is gone now,
what’s coming, beckoning.
Not dark, nor daylight either,
upon a hillock where
you’ve stopped, alone, observing,
if there is something there.
The winds they go on talking
high up above your head –
without understanding
you comprehend what’s said.
And not yet understanding
you look up, and behind –
just sighing to yourself there,
just sighing one more time.
All falling into silence
around you, deep within.
What’s in the past is gone now,
what’s coming, beckoning.
Love Everything!
Love everything, do!
Like a string of a zither,
ring hither and thither,
a lover never will wither
when asked straight
to the heart:
are you a rover,
make yourself over
into a light for the world.
Love everything, you,
join everything, do!
A rill to a stream goes,
a stream to a river grows,
all in one merging,
increasing and surging
to murmor and roar.
A blessing will flower,
the earth be empowered
with might to deliver.
